No and thousands of hours and millions of dollars have been spent to prove otherwise. The MKUltra program of the CIA in the 1960s and 1970s tried to use hypnosis (amongst other things) to create program killers and sleeper agents and the like. All their efforts came to nothing as it became clear that you can’t hypnotise someone to do something that they don’t really want to do.
Several studies have shown that even under hypnosis people won’t act against their own moral code, not even if the consequences are trivial.
So claiming that the Hypnotist told you to isn’t an effective defence should you find yourself in court for breaking the law.
